Newsbreaker is an experimental contemporary dance work inspired by the overload of news that we experience on a daily basis. The news enrages us, invades us, depresses us, suffocates us, incites us to act. How to deal with these constant bombardments?

With a newspaper costume and set and a gripping score, the struggle with current events, its effect on our mental health and the way we allow it to shape us becomes visceral in this relevant work by dancer and choreographer Jalianne Li .
